Dr. Anthony M. Ricciardi Jr. is an incomparable podiatric surgeon with extensive experience in cutting edge nerve decompression surgery, the procedure that helps patients with neuropathy to have surgery and go home the same day. Dr. Ricciardi is passionate in the care of his patients and has been referred to as friendly and a pleasure to work with. A native of New York, Dr. Ricciardi completed his undergraduate studies at Wagner College, Staten Island, New York receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree. Dr. Ricciardi earned his podiatric medical degree from Temple College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine) in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Ricciardi then completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. His residency training was based at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken, New Jersey, an extensive and cutting edge two-year surgical residency with a highly focused training in foot, ankle and lower leg reconstructive medicine and surgery. Dr. Ricciardi’s practice encompasses all aspects of podiatric medicine including reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, trauma, diabetic foot care, limb salvage and primary podiatric medicine. Dr. Ricciardi is a member of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, The American Podiatric Medical Association, The Nevada Podiatric Medical Association and Board Certified by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Ricciardi is currently the President and owner of Foot, Ankle & Lower Leg Center located in two different locations in Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada. Amir Shalev, DPM
Dr. Shalev came to our community in 2004 with extensive training in all aspects foot care. Dr. Shalev began his residency training in June of 2000 at an inner city hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He has seen everything from the as little as calluses to gun shot wounds of the lower extremity. Dr. Shalev spent 3 years in Brooklyn gaining a vast knowledge of treatments to healthy feet. Dr. Shalev has also been fortunate to complete a surgical residency program focusing on all forefoot deformities. After his 3 years in Brooklyn Dr. Shalev sought the only podiatric wound care fellowship in the country. Dr. Shalev realized that the diabetic population is extremely important not to mention increasingly growing. Thus, Dr. Shalev dedicated a year of his life to focus on the area of wound and geriatric care.
